Regenerative Stewardship · Est. Granger Township
Pasture-raised eggs, non-GMO chickens, Kune Kune piglets, and hatching eggs — grown on living soil without a single pesticide, herbicide, or harmful chemical.
Parah Farms is a regenerative farmstead on Ridge Road in Granger Township, Ohio. Every decision — from the clover we plant to the breeds we keep — is made to leave the soil richer than we found it. The result is food with integrity: eggs with amber yolks, chickens raised on sunshine, and pigs that build topsoil.
No pesticides. No herbicides. No synthetic fertilizers. We let biology do the work — building soil that grows nutrient-dense food.
Animals move across fresh pasture in a deliberate rotation. Their impact feeds the soil; the soil feeds the forage; the forage feeds them.
Non-GMO feed and heritage genetics. From our Kune Kune lineage to our laying flock, purity is the standard, not the exception.

Our birds are cared for like human beings — known by name, held, and well-loved every day of their lives. When their time comes, we honor that life and the gift it becomes. Watch from the pasture itself.
"It's important to treat every animal like a human being, right until we eat them."
Two collections: The Larder for what's ready for your table this week, and The Legacy for the genetics and livestock that carry the farm forward.

Amber-yolked eggs from hens moved daily across living pasture.

Slow-growing broilers processed on-farm for peak flavor and texture.

Heritage-lineage piglets, farrowed on pasture and hand-gentled.

Fertile eggs from healthy, foraging hens — shipped or farm-pickup.
Every Kune Kune on this farm is raised on pasture, rotated fresh ground, and handled gently from the day they're born. Hear it straight from the woman who feeds them each morning — how they're cared for, and why it matters.

We don't ask you to take our purity on faith. Here is the life cycle of a Parah Farms chicken, set directly against the industrial alternative. The premium you pay buys soil, animal welfare, and food you can trust.
Brooded on clean pasture, natural heat
Moved to fresh clover daily
Full forage diet, non-GMO supplement
Processed on-farm, stress-free

Confined, tens of thousands per shed
Antibiotics in feed, no sunlight
Growth-rate maximized, welfare ignored
Processed industrially, shipped far
pesticides, herbicides, or harmful chemicals ever touch a Parah Farms bird, its feed, or the pasture it lives on.
The reward of a pasture-raised, non-GMO bird: a meal worth gathering for. Watch one of our whole chickens come out of the oven golden, get carved, and land on a farm table with rice and green beans.
